To make wine is to understand, to learn, to work and to be able to use different skills (pruning adapted to the terroir and the types of vine, mechanical working of the land, fencing...) in order to obtain the best grapes which will allow the winegrower to give free rein to his creative imagination. It is not by chance that some of the pionneers of reasoned and organic agriculture, and of tracability can be found in the Côtes de Thongue. This strictness allows us to conserve the terroirs and protect our environment. The permanent search for quality which is at the heart of our denomination can be seen in the facts: average output of 50 hls per hectare, showing the already practiced responsibilisation of producers towards the quality of their wine. These real efforts of the winegrower, and the fruits obtained naturally are at the origin of the complexity and the quality of our wines.
