History

Vigne

The history of our region
has known a strong
winegrowing tradition
since earliest antiquity.

In the 1970s, the Côtes de Thongue embarked on a quality drive, which was seen particularly in the policy of adapting new grape varietals to the land.

The quality of the wines produced encouraged the bottling of the production. This takes place at the domain thus ensuring the tracking of the products. This precedence allowed the acquisition of skills and experience which helped bring together the ideal conditions for producing quality wines.

During the nineties, seeing the efforts made, a new strategy was given to the guild to transform the individual economic successes into a lasting collective development founded on the strong identity of our small region of
Côtes de Thongue.

Since then, there has been a constant progression and each day is a new page written in the history of a rare denomination.
